Bank Gutmann launches first advertising campaign ever.
Founded in 1922, the Private Bank Gutmann specializes in asset management, managing customer funds of more than 16.8 billion Euros. A considerate responsibility, that has not gained much press. In this ever-changing media environment, in which competitors are currently strengthening their position, it is time for the traditional Viennese institution to present its services.
Five print ads display the key areas of the banks’ clientele and the associated services by Bank Gutmann.
This creative implementation was preceded by the development of a strategy in which the client and the agency DEMNER, MERLICEK & BERGMANN jointly worked out the brand essence and summarized it in a slogan: ‘Money. And how to keep it.’
‘Our slogan incorporates the core requirement of our clientele. The print ads capture life situations with charm and wit, portraying that a responsible use of money allows for additional opportunities and more security.’ said Chairman of the Board Bank Gutmann AG Frank W. Lippitt.

Andrea Schmitz Dohnal, a longtime member of the Board, has decided to take on new challenges on the clients’ side and will leave the agency mid-May. Managing partners Mariusz Jan Demner and Dr. Harry Bergmann took the opportunity to restructure: Alongside existing members Evelyn Schmidt Lukele (Contracts/Administration), Mag. Francesco Bestagno (Creative) and Helmut Schliefsteiner (Brand Consulting), long-term employees Christin Herrnberger and Katharina Schmid now amend the management board. Christin Herrnberger takes over the management of Client Counseling, Katharina Schmid will be responsible for Planning and New Business.
