1969 Mariusz Jan Demner and Franz Merlicek found the advertising agency Demner & Merlicek in Vienna.
1972 D&M initiates the founding of the Creativ Club Austria (CCA).
1976 Dr. Harry Bergmann begins his agency career.
1976 First international client won: Monsanto.
(Eastern Europe, Greece, Italy).
1987 Staff numbers hit 50.
1990 First Mazda European campaign won.
1992 Mariusz Jan Demner is the first Austrian member of the TV jury at Cannes.
1994 Austria becomes a member of the EU – after a two-year D&M campaign.
1994 D&M the Number 1 in Austria.
1995 The agency is now called Demner, Merlicek & Bergmann.
1997 Billings top € 100 million for the first time.
2000 "Schlagobers" appears: 30 years of D,M&B work, published by Walter Lürzer. To order.
2001 D,M&B Number 1 in the first Bestseller Creative Ranking.
2004 D,M&B works in 8 European countries.
2007 D,M&B Sofia founded to manage one of the biggest accounts in Bulgaria (M-Tel).
2007 Digital Unit founded.
2009 Cannes Lion for Tscheppe Wines.
2012 The agency is still Nr. 1 in the Billings-Ranking, Creative-Ranking and the Effie-Ranking in the German-speaking region.
