For over 13 years, Vegavita consciously refrained from using animal ingredients, but made sure to include a beastly great taste! The REWE International AG store brand has now been redesigned and extended. If basil tofu, lemon-cilantro hummus, or ice cream and gummies, the purely plant based products leave nothing to be desired.
DEMNER, MERLICEK & BERGMANN created the new Vegavita campaign themed ‘Let’s do vegan today’ and the appeal: ‘One vegan day per week serves us all.’ It’s about activating especially the Flexitarians to eat vegan at least one day per week.
Dr. Harry Bergmann: ‘Vegan or non-vegan needs to leave the militant black/white corner it has been in. Content wise, as well as in its tonality. I personally think we succeeded rather well on both fronts with this campaign.’
As a prelude a music video was put on YouTube, which had over 180000 views in the first two weeks alone. Under #heutemalvegan (letsdovegantoday) contributions can be shared and tracked. All contributions are being collected on the lovingly designed microsite (heutemalvegan.at) and awaken yet another animal to life.
Starting only in the second phase – in the beginning of May – the products are being displayed and advertised via billboards, citylights, digital screens, ads and POS.
