DEMNER, MERLICEK & BERGMANN with new campaign for ‘That’s where I’m from!’
From the Styrian ‘Krautschädl’ to the Burgenland ‘Umurken’ – every province has their very own regional terms for fruits and vegetables.
In order for all of Austria to know where its ‘Opfl’ (apple, colloquial) comes from, DEMNER, MERLICEK & BERGMANN created the ‘That’s where I’m from!’ campaign.
Mag. Melissa Scherr, Brand Management ‘That’s where I’m from!’ ‘Regionalism is the order of the day and really, who wants horseradish if they can have ‘Grei’. (Horseradish, colloquial)’
The wide range of products, which can be purchased at BILLA, MERKUR and ADEG, stand for seasonal fruits and vegetables from local farmers.
In addition to purchasing fresh, regional local food, the consumers also engage themselves in a more sustainable Austria. For every ‘That’s where I’m from!’ purchase, 1 cent is automatically donated to the sustainability initiative ‘Blooming Austria’.
The campaign can currently be seen throughout Austria with various billboard motives. POS and radio spot round off this presentation.
