OMV and DEMNER, MERLICEK & BERGMAN show where Austria’s education is getting its energy from
The fall campaign of OMV covers a topic that is part of OMV’s corporate culture: Education.
Only those who invest into education strengthen Austria’s economy long term. To accomplish this one needs a well-trained skilled labor force that is to be excited about technology at elementary school age.
Mag. Michaela Huber, Senior Vice President Corporate Communications & Sustainability: “With this campaign we want to show that OMV not only invests in oil and gas but also creates interest in technology in Austria long term. We are proud to support our educational partners and give back to our Austrian community.”
Subsequently, educational institutions supported by OMV within the Resourcefulness Program are from a broad spectrum as shown in the new TV commercial. Beneficiaries amongst others are: the Vienna Open Lab, the Montanuniversity Leoben, the Technical Museum Vienna and the “Technology Queens” of the country.
The TV commercial shows the education path of a young employee at OMV. Motivated by thirst for knowledge, she is particularly interested in the earth’s segments that present questions she ultimately dedicates her higher education to: Linda Kirchberger, Geophysicist at OMV is shown in the last scene on the open ocean doing her job; securing the energy supply of the future.
The campaign is to be seen since late October on TV as well as in print and online. It is accompanied by an educational-energy-quiz at www.omv.com
