DEMNER, MERLICEK & BERGMANN with new image campaign for Media Markt Switzerland.
First of all, one must know the following: Namely, what “Löli” actually means. “Loving word for idiot, fool”, is the explanation found in the Swiss-German dictionary.
The Löli family, heroes of the new campaign, also find something: a new Media Markt right outside their front door.
And this is how two worlds collide. The Lölis, who still live like way back when, suddenly discover the world of modern entertainment electronics at Media Markt. Therefore, at the end of each episode with the unconventional family the usual “I’m not stupid” has been replaced with “I’m not a Löli”.
Prelude to this campaign is an establisher film, which introduces the Löli family and all of Switzerland’s’ quirks. After that, numerous episodes follow, in which the Lölis get to know the online store, or various services of Media Markt.
Viennese agency DEMNER, MERLICEK & BERGMANN designed the campaign, while Rosas&Co shot the films in Switzerland with director Claas Ortmann.
