DEMNER, MERLICEK & BERGMANN with innovative fundraiser for RED NOSES on A1 TV.
The Austrian RED NOSES clown-doctors are known for their pioneering work with children and seniors in hospitals and nursing facilities. In order to make patients laugh, the club relies almost exclusively on donations.
Together with advertising agency DEMNER, MERLICEK & BERGMANN, A1 TV and ProSiebenSat 1 PULS 4 – the leading private TV-enterprise in Austria – an innovative way has now been developed to generate donations faster and more extensive than ever before. Starting now, all A1 TV customers can support the clown-doctors with € 2.- simply by pushing a button. That is how simple it is to give a child’s laughter. For that purpose one only has to press the red nose (=red button) on the A1 TV remote control.
The viewers then receive the RED NOSES donations movie in the A1 video library. Without breaking with any form of media, the RED NOSES can now be supported in a way that is groundbreaking. The fee of € 2.- for the donations movie will be directly added to the A1 invoice and the total amount will be donated to RED NOSES. All donors will furthermore receive the animated movie ‘Astro Boy’, which was provided free of charge for this fundraiser from the Tele Munich Group. This movie is released for the duration of 48 hours after donating for no further fee.
Attention is brought to this spectacular fundraiser through TV-spots on the channels PULS 4, ProSieben Austria, SAT 1 Austria, kabel eins Austria and sixx Austria. Cut-ins in their own formats, editorial contributions and banners in the A1 TV video portal create further awareness of the fundraiser.
‘Thanks to the interactive TV ads, which navigate television viewers with the push of a button, or ‘push of the nose’ directly to the donation site, we would like to sustainably modify and simplify the donation behavior of Austrians,’, said Mag. Alexander Eisenbach, Marketing Director of RED NOSES. ‘In the future complicated donation transactions online and tedious walks to the banks can be eliminated completely with this new approach.’
